After completing two hotel shoots in downtown Phoenix, I extended my stay to explore and photograph Rise Uptown Hotel, a property that instantly drew me in with its vibrant mid-century aesthetic and relaxed desert energy. What began as an impromptu creative session turned into one of my favorite personal projects to date.

I photographed both the interior and exterior spaces, focusing on the hotel’s bold color palette, nostalgic design details, and the playful atmosphere that defines the Rise Uptown experience. To enhance authenticity, I brought in a few props including a margarita tequila-in-a-can— (By Golden Rule Spirits) to create lifestyle vignettes that felt natural, sun-soaked, and true to the spirit of Phoenix.

The result is a visual series that captures modern desert hospitality through a nostalgic lens, balancing design, warmth, and storytelling. This project became a defining piece in my portfolio, showcasing my love for spaces that celebrate creativity, personality, and place.
